The Hughenden Power Station holds a significant place in Queensland’s energy past & the region is now home to some of the nation’s most impressive renewable energy resources.
Captive Communications, PVW Partners & W. Wightman Advisory have been engaged by the Mount Isa Townsville Economic Zone as Joint Venture Partners to undertake a Feasibility and Concept Study to see if Hughenden’s energy story- past, present and future- could become the region’s newest tourism attraction. Funding has been made available for this project through the RAB.
