“By offering an integrated service delivery model which incorporates financial management, project management, stakeholder engagement and communications under the one roof, we’re able to provide our clients with something truly unique…”

They say that life works in mysterious ways.

When I first took up the post at PVW Partners in 2018, I had no idea of the journey that was to come.

As part of the firm’s transition away from a Big 4 firm, I was engaged as an in-house communications and stakeholder engagement specialist to tell their story to the regional Queensland market.

It wasn’t long before we started to get calls from clients asking us if we could help to give them, their business or project a voice too. It quickly became apparent that there was a significant gap in the regional Queensland market for a nimble, full-service communications and stakeholder engagement agency to support the changing needs of clients and markets.

And that is where the idea of Captive Communications was born.

While the concept happened organically, once the seed was planted, things have moved at a rapid pace.

The agency is already going from strength to strength. We hold several founding clients, including the Museum of Underwater Art, Everglow Community Care and national veteran charity Swiss8.

By offering an integrated service delivery model which incorporates financial management, project management, stakeholder engagement and communications under the one roof, we’re able to provide our clients with something truly unique.

As a proud North Queenslander who is passionate about supporting our region and its people to grow and prosper, the opportunity to head up Captive Communications is incredibly exciting.

It is, in essence, a vehicle to help local people, business and projects on their path to success.
