Michael joins PVW Partners from KPMG Darwin where he led the private clients and corporate advisory team. Prior to Darwin, Michael worked for a mid-tier accounting firm in Sydney and North Queensland for almost 10 years.
Michael has worked with commercial clients across Northern Australia from small retail shops to listed companies. Michael provides high-end advisory services for all of his clients scaling up or down as required. Michael’s primary client industries include agriculture, civil construction, manufacturing, mining, trades and professional services.
By working closely with his clients, Michael commonly becomes a key sounding board for the business owners and/or their key employees. Michael’s experience is much more than just accounting and tax, having previously worked in specialist tax advisory, management consulting and corporate finance roles. This combination of skills has made Michael a uniquely diverse and sought-after business advisor in Northern Australia.
Outside of PVW Michael has a young family to keep him grounded, and has recently accepted a board position with the Reef Restoration Foundation.
